Worcester park zappi car charger installation
Recently, a customer asked me for a quote to install a new Myenergi zappi car charger at their property. They wanted the car charger to work alongside their existing solar PV system but wanted to know more about the cost and the process.
I let them know that I would first need to complete a site survey to ensure that a new car charger would be compatible with their energy supply. We worked together to arrange a convenient time for the survey.
Once the survey was complete I talked them through all their options. We confirmed details such as, the location of the car charger and the device colour and finish. I gave professional recommendations throughout to make sure the location, cable route and energy supply to their charger would meet their individual needs as efficiently as possible.
Based on my recommendations the customer decided to also replace their top fuse board. This provided a free circuit for the new car charger and the safety equipment needed. Before changing their fuseboard and fitting the car charger I tested all the circuits to make sure they were safe.
I completed the entire installation in 2 days. Throughout the installation, I stayed in close contact with the customer to find convenient times for me to return to the property and to switch their power on and off.
Before leaving the install I tested the charger to make sure it was working as it should. I also spent time letting the customer know how the charger works and talking them through how to use the app.

Wimbledon garden lighting installation
A landscaper I had previously worked with recommended me to a customer of theirs who was having their garden designed. The customer wanted to add more garden lighting to their current setup with an emphasis on increasing the brightness of their seating areas and drawing attention to certain areas of the garden.
They opted for black LED spike lights in the flower bed, fairy lights on their peninsula and additional sockets for general use and greenhouse equipment. I also fitted a water fountain pump and a new ring doorbell for their front door.
I met with the customer to discuss their vision and the options they had. I was able to help them decide how many spike lights they would need and how to position them to achieve the look they wanted. I also recommended a wisebox wireless switching kit which would allow them to have separate switches for their different outdoor lights. This ensured they had greater control over their lighting set up. They could have different lights switched on at different times or could choose to turn the water fountain off while keeping their lights on and vice versa.

New Malden Kitchen and side extension rewire
I recently completed a kitchen and additional side extension project for a neighbor of mine in New Malden.
The project included a complete rewire in their kitchen and side extension as well as a new fuseboard.
I worked closely with the customer to understand their wants and needs and made recommendations to ensure the new electrics in their kitchen would fit their lifestyle.
At different stages throughout the project I made sure to check in with the customer to make sure they were happy with the progress while ensuring:
• They got the outcome and finishes they wanted while working within their budget
• Every electrical detail (pendant lights, switches, sockets) complemented their overall kitchen design
